Bali 1st Oct 2014 out to dinner

We decided to go get a bite to eat and visit Gloria Jeans for coffee. Went just up round the corner from the hotel to Blue Sky bar and resturant. As usual I couldn't eat my dinner so George had two helpings, his steak and my seafood. We had a couple of small Bintans and then went on further for coffee.

Georgie boy waiting for his food

Looking along the resturant to the resort we are staying at. It's down that lane.

Blurry one of me

One of the girls tried to take a photo of the two of us but the little devil kept getting in the background Nd photo bombing us .

Finally got a good shot 20 or so later

Then we had to have the selfies, complete with flick of the bird. Great kids all working hazard.

Light fits
Ing in Gloria Jeans coffee house, trying to figure out how I' get one like it home. George said in your dreams girlie.

Shabby chic walls of the coffee house, just love this look.

My main man

The guys at Gloria's gave us a shout  of welcome and a smiley face I my coffee

Now this is Lita's dinner for tonight. At least I can get chocolate cake and a coffee down.
A girls staple diet, what more can a girl want?

Bali R&R for George and Lita 27th Sept to 7th Oct 2014

George and Lita are having some time out from months of working their arse off. Currently. Having some R&R at the Kuta Lagoon Resort and Pool Villas in Kuta-Legion. It's not too fancy but it will do us for what we want. Just lazing round our own private pool drinking G&T s and Scotch and Drys, eating fruit and cheese platters for nibble.

So this is ourbed. Hard as a rock, can hardly walk. When you get up I the morning; thank God for Celebrex! It's a comfortable room, got forte land great movies; some I have never seen before. Never thought that would happen. Had to by a kettle and a couple of decent mugs for our coffee as what they supplied was useless but. That's ok. Brought my own coffee anyway and then found a Gloria
Jeans just round the corner run by an Ozzie guy. Will probably go for our cupper after a little snooze.

Just been for a swim and a bit of a sun bake. My boobs are really pink. Now to catch the colour up on the legs and behind. George just chilling out. Bless him he has really needed this holiday.

Our little pool and looking back into our little villa.

Yep another shot of "G" in the 4m by 3 m pool. Good size actually for just cooling off and socialising. We are toying with the idea of putting one in the front garden, if we can ever afford it.
View looking down from the breakfast dining area. Not a good shot.

Buffet breakfast, not brilliant but adequate. It's ok for George and he says it sets him up for the rest of the day. If I cannot eat it I have a shake or a nibble later on.

Another shot of  the dining room.

George tucking in. We went to the supermarket and stocked up with some cheeses and drinks and fruit so if I need to eat later we have the weeny fridge stuffed the the brim.
Thats all for now, I shall update so e time tomorrow, love to all,      Lita xxxxxx

Bath; A city like no other, just beautiful and historic...2 July

Out with Alana for the day in Bath. We parked the car and took the bus in as there is not parking in Bath and it costs a fortune. Alana and Mum waited outside while I took a look on my own; they had been there before and it's not cheap to go in. It was wonderful, I couldn't get enough of the place. Plenty of tourist in there to jostle with.

Down at the water level. You can walk in and out of all the rooms. Very interesting.

Up on the platform which was built in the 18 th century to show off the archeological finds.

The square where we all took a seat and ate our Cornish pasties.

How the joint looked in the Roman settlement times.

Hairstyle of the day girls. I would have been an ugly bitch, not enough hair for that style.

This bath was full of coins.

There's the old girl accosting a stranger to take her pic. Great day out

Wow look at that!!! 6th July

On our journey from Doncaster to Thretford, big power station

Doncaster, land of my Father

Had a day with the relatives in Doncaster. My Dad's cousin, Vaughn and her daughter Dawn. We just lumped ourselves on Vaughn's doorstep this morning as we didn't have her phone number. We got into Doncaster last night after travelling from Chester via Great Harwood. It took over 9 hours to get here as there was a traffic jam on the M 62. There was an accident and on top of all that the roads all around Lleds and other parts of Yorkshire are all closed due to the Tour de France bike race.

We went out for a spot of lunch at the Scwabey Mill, lovely.

The church opposite our hotel, shot through the window so a little shaky. Actually a lot of my pics are a bit on the blurred side as I shake so much.

Due to the Bike Race I shall not get to see Yorkshire, the mores and the surrounding beautiful countryside. I am most upset about that as it was where my Dad came from. I did get to see his house and street he lived in and the school he went to before immigrating to Australia in 1951.

Dad's School. Well off to Tredford in the morning. Heading back down South again. We unfortunately will not be able to go through Nottingham where my Nanna comes from or see the beautiful Cambridge as the roads are all blocked for the bike race. I have chosen Tredford as it is the half point to Margete in Kent and it is away/ east of Cambridge and it's quite historic in history. Bugger it is Sunday as everything is closed but we will be coming via Lincoln on our journey with a stop off for lunch, coffee. This will place us in Tredford fairly late anyway on Sunday. Not much time foe sightseeing anyway. Well time to sleep , night me little lovelies.

Having a day out with Dr Martin.

Port Isaac 30th of June

Went off to Port Isaac for an over night adventure.

The view coming into the village.

Looking back on the village after we had arrived and had checked into the Old School House Accommodation.

After a 3 to 4 hour drive we really needed a cupper. We had a lovely little roof top verandah which we retired to for a while to refresh. A nice long wLk through the village was then in order so Mum came for a look T the end of the school yard and then Alana and I went off to explore. We first headed to the pub and a kind tourist took our pic with the little harbour in the background.

Guess where I am ???
Okay I'll tell you. I'm outside Dr Martin's house and surgery. Woohoo! I made it to ground zero. I am over the moon about this I just have to tell you.

And yes you're right this is Louisa's little cottage. The door is really low and it's no wonder the Dr always hit his head.

The Old School House. It is so quaint and closely but very noisy.

The Dr was not available for a cupper this afternoon.

We had dinner in the resturant in the Old School House. It was absolutely yummy. Mum had pork belly with Apple sauce and veggies and Alana and I had the fish pie and veggies.

OMG it was soooooo tasty that we had to go up stairs and sleep; well I did anyway. Must have been all the driving, walking and eating but I was exhausted.
Hey came out of dinner and the tide had come in.

The car had better be shifted soon. The tidal movement is a blow-out.

Well breakfast over and it's time to hit the road back to Shepton Mullet, Alana's homes.
